How We Work, and Why Timing Matters

We've been in business 25+ years, installing hardwood, luxury vinyl plank, tile, laminate, carpet and stair flooring inside people's homes. Over that time one lesson has stuck with us. A floor that goes in at the wrong moment, or over a slab nobody tested, can cup, gap or lift a few months later.

So we start each job by asking what's coming. Before a wet spring, we look harder at moisture readings and vapor barriers. Before the holidays, we plan the schedule so your rooms are back in use when family arrives. Hardwood gets time to acclimate inside your home with the air conditioning running, not stacked in a hot garage.

When we visit, we measure, check the subfloor and tell you plainly what we found, including when a less expensive option will serve you just as well. You get a written, line-item estimate, so you can see what moves the price before you decide anything.

    Moisture checks before anything goes down

    Concrete slabs often hold more water than they appear to. We test before we install and add the right underlayment or barrier, because that one step decides whether a floor stays flat.

    Schedules built around your plans

    Tell us about the move-in date, the holiday dinner or the new baby. We set the install so the messiest days land when they bother you least, and we let you know which rooms will be off limits and for how long.

    Your home protected while we work

    We cover doorways and walkways, move furniture with care and clean up at the end of each day. Old flooring and scraps leave with us.

    Covered after we leave

    We're insured, and every installation we do carries a 1-year workmanship warranty. If something we installed isn't right, give us a call and we'll come back to look at it.
